These striking earrings feature a 13x18mm, oval, Leopardskin Jasper stone, topped with a 3mm copper round, a 6mm and two 4mm Leopardskin Jasper beads. The Jasper beads are a wide variety of muted earth tones - brown, red, pink, grey, orange and cream - speckled with the distinctive spots and swirls that give the stone its name. The ear-wires are copper, which match well with the colours of the Jasper and add a warm gleam. These drop earrings measures approximately 1.5 inches (4cm). Your earrings will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a small organza gift bag. Price includes delivery within the UK.

The word 'Jasper' comes from the Greek 'Jaspi' meaning spotted stone. With Leopardskin Jasper, sometimes called Jaguar stone, these spots resemble the markings on the coats of big cats. Leopardskin Jasper was particularly prized by shamans, who believed it helped them connect with their spirit animal, and provided protection and courage when travelling in the spirit world. It is still thought that the stone can provide courage and strength to the wearer.
