About this item
This is a handmade made snippet roll made from a wide range of coordinating fabrics including plain and embroidered sari ribbon, recycled silk scarf, gold braid, hairy fabric, cotton fabric, and ribbon. The fabrics are sewn onto a backing of cotton fabric and machine stitched into place. The main colour is shades of purple with gold accents. Each one is unique! The piece is 2 inches (5 cm wide) and 36 inches (91cm ) long. The photos shows the full length of the roll I made before cutting it into two 36 inch (91cm) lengths. . A snippet roll can be used for many projects for example, journal making, junk journals, mixed media work, decorations, wrapping, card making.

I seem to be drawn to chopping things up and sewing them back together again, so making snippet rolls seemed to be a brilliant option., I did enjoy making them so hope you will enjoy using them
