This hand knitted tea cosy is made using acrylic yarn in a dark and paler pink yarn and has a "ridged" effect. It will fit a 4 Cup teapot and there is no need to remove the cosy when pouring - only to refill the pot with fresh tea. It is fully machine washable on a 40 degree wash and will keep you pot warm for a couple of hours.
