About this item
A canvas painting with the silhouette of two storks stood in their nest against a background of yellow fields and a clear blue sky. The storks have touching beaks to create a heart shape in the gap left between their bodies, and the countryside scene makes this a yellow and blue heart - showing love for Ukraine. This original Ukraine inspired art is painted in acrylics on a 25cm x 25cm and 3.5cm deep canvas (9.8" x 9.8" and 1.4" deep). The image carries on over the edges of the canvas so there is no need for framing, and a string is attached to the back so it is ready to hang. The stork canvas will be sent Tracked 24. If sold, 60% of the item price of this painting will be donated to AUGB's Help Ukraine fund.

In Ukraine storks are seen as symbols of peace, with the belief there is peace, love and prosperity on the land where they choose to build their nest. In this painting with the storks creating a Ukrainian heart from their nest, it is showing love for the entire country and a wish for peace.

Exceptionally fast postage, and the cards were just gorgeous. Such a lovely concept - I can't wait to give them to my bird loving pals for a birthday challenge.
