Large red rubber and wire heart pendant from recycled materials

Large red rubber and wire heart pendant from recycled materials by me, Alison Bailey Smith in July 2022. The pendant is light and colourful, with bright joyful rainbow colours. Created by hand using gathered and hoarded materials. The pendant is supplied on a green woven cord (also recycled from another artist) a branded card with recycled envelope, again in eye-popping colours in a sturdy pink recycled box. Also included is a small card which breaks down the materials in this piece. All branding can be removed allowing the box to be re-used easily. Outer packaging provided is always reused, recycled or using up an old stash from a large business that has scaled back. Free postage within UK, I do not ship outside of UK for environmental reasons, in keeping with the ethos of my way of working. I would be delighted if these were worn or given with pride and joy. Pendant 7.5 x 5 cm - cord 78 cm long (cord is easy to retie and make shorter). I have just completed a large project using lots of different materials to create 9 large flowers for parks and schools in Wirral. The materials gathered for the flowers has opened my eyes to new possibilities including this red exercise ball which has the amazing qualities of rubber - colour, shiny and squidge factor! Love the new colour it offers and how it sets off the colours of the lacquered copper television wire and plastic coated telecom wire - recycled (golden and red) and bought (acid green and teal).
