Hand Crafted Silk satin swallowtail butterflies

Swallowtail butterflies made from pure silk satin in Ivory, White, Blush or Black High quality silk crepe is stiffened in the same way we do to make silk flowers and this is then cut to create these gorgeous, delicate butterflies. Satin backed silk crepe is a stunning fabric, giving the sheen of satin on one side more opaque than silk organza How you will receive them. The silk organza butterflies are packed folded so that their wings gently fall open when used to retain a 3D design. They can be ironed flat if required using a "Silk" setting between two cloths such as cotton handkerchiefs. (Do not iron directly or they will stick to your iron). Use these wonderful butterflies for veil, wedding and prom dress embellishment, bridal hair accessories, millinery etc. Attach them with a row of pearls or diamante along the centre, sew or glue them in place. If used on bridal clothing or accessories, they will gently flutter with movement, so why not use two layered together to create even more impact.
