About this item
A handmade Collagraph Print of a young girl giving a little pony a apple. As printmaking is an handmade process there will be variations between each print. The stars are hand painted and there is a slight touch of watercolour to give definition to the girls features. I have included a photograph of a Collagraph plate process from start to finish. A collagraph plate is made from firm card (mount board) and you collage it using textured materials. Ranging from wallpapers, old bits of netting from fruit bags, fabrics, tape really anything which is flat enough to go through a press. You can cut into the card to make interesting mark making. It really is very versatile. 18 x 18 cm overall size 12 x 12 image size printed on 370 gsm paper. Artwork sold unframed This little print will be carefully wrapped sandwiched between sturdy card and delivered using a signed for service.

I was inspired by some little ponies that I see locally when I am out and about on my walks. The owners come regularly to brush them and clean them out and to no doubt give them a little treat.
