Cramond Shoulder Bag knitting pattern

Slip stitch patterns give a smart look to this shoulder bag. It uses West Yorkshire Spinners The Croft Shetland Colours Aran, which is worked on small needles to achieve a firm fabric. The bag and strap are fully lined; you could add an internal pocket using left over fabric. All pieces are worked flat. The bag starts with the base, then stitches are picked up for working the front. The back is picked up along the base then worked the same as the front. The straps are worked in two parts, then sewn together with an overlap.
