A celebration of an iconic ancient giant of a tree, thought to be over 1000 years old. I sketched this tree in Sherwood Forest in awe one sparkly morning in November 2021 and developed the drawing back home in Manchester. It is an English Oak (pedunculate), and one of over 900 ancient trees within Sherwood Forest.
