About this item
A simple carton trinket box that has been decorated with a gold paint finish and has an intricate hand smocked silk insert in the lid that is further embellished with matching glass beads. Each box is unique and measures 5 cm tall by 8 cm across. Available in either round or hexagonal shape.

The first box I made like this was to use a small piece of hand smocking left over from another larger project. Smocking is a time consuming process and so even little pieces still have value. I enjoyed manipulating the piece into a circle to fit the box lid and then finding lots of glass beads to finish it off.

If you were going for upgrades, I would suggest more colour photos, to make it easier to see the detail and or instructions for non-traditional effects
