About this item
A little pair of brass stars with a smaller star of silver wire fused inside the shape, on this occasion the wire has melted quite a lot, leaving pools of silver around the star shape. Hung from sterling silver ear wires, they should suit everyone. As this technique is unpredictable the two earrings don't match exactly but as closely as I can manage.

These little stars are made by heating silver wire on the brass star shapes until it melts slightly and fuses to the surface. Because I'm not using solder and flux the copper in the brass seems to come to the surface so they look like copper, they are actually brass. They don't react to reheating the same way that actual copper does so you tend not to get as many colours appearing.
