About this item

Materials

Candle, Napkin

Description

I have decorated this unscented medium candle with an unusual (paper napkin) image comprising stamp-like pictures of different vintage Santas and the children they are visiting. The muted colours give the image a vintage look, and the napkin decoupage gives the images depth and a lovely textured feel to the touch. There is a further vintage Santa image on the back of the candle. I have packaged the candle and added a raffia tie so that it might be given as a gift. The candle is approximately 65mm by 160mm. This candle makes an attractive decoration but, as the images are fixed with liquid wax glue, it can be lit. BUT please do follow all normal candle safety rules when doing so, including placing the candle on a fireproof dish/holder, out of the reach of children or anything flammable, and never leaving a candle unattended.

In my Christmas home there must always be Santas - of all different shapes, sizes and style! – and I feel that these vintage ones make a rather attractive and unusual candle.

Such a great idea to make a bar of soap special. I won't be giving it to my daughter until my grandaughter arrives September. I know she will love it.
