About this item
These large glass snowflakes have each been made with over 40 separate pieces of glass, hand cut and carefully arranged to form a snowflake when fused in the kiln. There are two to choose from - either tiny silver-coloured or gold-coloured flakes fused between the glass at each of the six points of the shape. A layer of glass ‘frost’ is then sprinkled on top before a second fusing. Measuring approximately 13cm in diameter, each snowflake is attached to a piece of lovely, green velvet ribbon ready for hanging but this can be changed for white organza ribbon if you prefer - just add a message. Please make your choice of silver or gold colour from the drop down box.

Placing all the tiny pieces of glass together to make the desired shape doesn’t look very promising at first but when they emerge from the kiln they are transformed into a beautiful sparkling snowflake! I love making them!
