Macrame Tree of Life Mindfulness Wall Hanging with Pegs

As a practising therapist, I believe that the objects we choose to place in our living spaces should support our daily mental well-being. I hand-knotted this large Macrame Tree of Life on a wooden hoop, blending traditional heritage knots with a practical, calming purpose. How to use this as a daily mindfulness tool: On the lower branches, I have included small, colourful wooden pegs. While this looks beautiful on its own as textile art, it is designed to be fully interactive. You can use these pegs to clip: Mindful Reminders: Notes to remind yourself to take a slow, deep breath during a busy day. Tokens of Comfort: Small photographs, cards, notes from loved ones, or dried flowers that bring an immediate sense of safety and calm. Moments of Gratitude: Little notes detailing small things that brought you joy throughout the week. The Tree of Life is a universal symbol of growth, deep roots, and resilience. Placed in a bedroom, home office, or quiet corner, this wall hanging serves as a gentle visual invitation to pause, ground yourself, and step away from the busy noise of the day.
