About this item
These pink and white anenomes with buds are cascading from a cream and caramel striped pottery jar which sits on a sun dappled wooden surface. I painted this in my Norfolk studio and it features gouache on canvas for body. I have given a linen look texture and the background has cream, blue and golden brown brushstrokes which continue around the sides. The square canvas measures 40cm sq and is ready for you to hang. Find a spot for this sunny painting of golden tones or gift to someone special, there are more in this series. I call this one Anenomes in Striped Jar I'.

I do love a container, it makes the flowers work differently and enables you to place the picture in a domestic setting for a change. That opens up all sorts of possibilities for backgrounds and lighting effects. I had great fun with this little series of container based paintings and I hope you might have a domestic setting to place this one in.
