This small handmade fabric pigeon is created from an embellished textile print, carefully stitched and lightly padded to give a soft, three-dimensional feel. Set within a simple aluminium tin, it has the feel of a small keepsake or found object. Inspired by the quiet character of everyday British birds, this piece celebrates the often-overlooked pigeon. The combination of printed textile, machine stitching, and hand embroidery gives it a gentle folk art quality. Each pigeon is individually made, with small variations in stitching and detail that make every piece slightly different. The tin has a clear window lid and a simple wire hanger.
