About this item
A circular copper pendant with silver wire fused to the surface and low temperature enamel, opaque light blue and a little transparent dark blue. As the silver is fused to the copper it spreads in unpredictable ways. This time it has left the effect of a crashing wave. The enamel represents the sea behind the silver surf. The pendant measures approx 2.5cm across and is slightly domed before the enamel is applied. The pendant is suspended from a copper jump ring on a very fine, silver grey, leather thong, which is adjustable for length.

I have experimented with enamel on the copper and silver pieces. I don't have a kiln so I can only do it when I can visit a craft hotel near Okehampton. Obviously this year that was not possible. I found these low temperature enamels online so I thought I would try them. I need to get some more practice but I'm quite pleased with this one.
