Fused Glass Trivet Sea Blue Trivet 16cm 037

Introducing my Joysofglass Fused Glass collection. All hand-cut by me, decorated and then fused in my kiln. My glass fusing kiln is only small so these fused glass pieces are all one-off designs, no mass production possible. A 16cm square trivet or pot stand, 6 mm thick, fired in my kiln to a very hot temperature. This fuses all the glass together to a lovely smooth finish. The trivet has a base of clear glass which is then topped with 8 x 4cm squares of blue and blue turquoise mixed glass, 4 different types.. The square in the centre is formed from frit which I've made from a mix of turquoise glasses and it's then topped with chips of both clear and black backed dichroic. This gives it a lovely luxurious look. A rather beautiful piece of glass and also very tactile. Made from Bullseye glass, handcut, shaped, layered and decorated with a unique design. It will be sent to you by first class Royal Mail safely cosseted in bubble wrap. This will make a lovely present for yourself of for someone you love and is guaranteed to be totally unique. The last photo shows other colours of trivets some also for sale as separate listings. I've added 4 little feet to the corners to protect your surfaces.
