The Donkey Moon A3 two-colour screen-print (orange & green)

An A3 size screen-print entitled 'The Donkey Moon'. This is one of a continuing series of prints that I have made focussed on donkeys and their adventures in a strange and abstracted place. In this print one donkey takes a break from their adventures for a second to contemplate the moon. The prints started as a way to celebrate donkeys, as I feel they are somewhat undervalued in art and society, and as time has gone on the compositions have become more and more surreal! Orange and light green System 3 inks on Antique White Seawhite 280gsm acid-free paper. From an edition of 15, signed, stamped, titled and numbered.. The print also features elements created as linocuts that I incorporated into the screen-print. The print image measures H33.5xW18.8cm. The paper measures H42xW29.7cm. Printed by myself at Hunk Print, Sheffield, UK. Each one is slightly different, as is the nature with screen-prints. All prints will be posted securely in a card tube and sent by first-class post (UK) or Airmail (rest of the world).
