About this item
Send your Halloween greetings with this frighteningly colourful card! As always, it has been digitally created from one of my original photographs. Perhaps the most scary thing about the Bogeyman is that he has no specific characteristics and can appear in many guises. For centuries his threat has been used to subdue naughty children but this card might just make the grown-ups shriek! The back of the card has details of the image and when you open it there's another little creepy surprise inside (!) but it is otherwise blank for your own special message. The card is 140 mm (5.5 ins) square and is printed by me on 240 gsm card with a glossy outer finish. It comes with a plain white envelope. Please take a look at my other Halloween card designs, one of which is shown in the last picture. Please note that the red colour in this card is more like the main image rather than that shown in the photograph of the card front which appears slightly more pink. All colours may differ depending on your equipment and screen settings. The price includes UK postage.

Hello and welcome to DArTworld, my world of colour, reality and imagination in cards and prints. The subjects vary from the ancient and classical world right up to date but the thing that they have in common is the use of vibrant colour and the visual twist that I like to give my images. I hope you will love them. Please also visit my second shop called Beaded Beasties, mixed media box frames of beaded dragonflies and other creatures/themes.

When searching through my photographs for images that might work well for Halloween, I decided that this carved wooden boss could be suitably spooky!
