About this item
This hand knitted cotton shopping bag is ideal for grocery shopping. It's open knit design expands gently for whatever is being carried. Knitted using aran weight 100% cotton yarn, its a brightly coloured sturdy bag, great for holding your produce when going round the market or shops. The yarn has red, green, pink, white and blue running through it. The bag measures 62cm in diameter at the top and is 30cm deep when un-stretched. The handle measures 30cm and is designed to be worn over the shoulder. Knitted pumpkins not included Second Sunday: This was my first attempt at a grocery bag, I have since adjusted my design. This is a one off!

Shopping bags don't need to be boring and they certainly don't need to be plastic. I decided to knit a grocery bag using sturdy cotton yarn - inspired by the string bags that were popular decades ago.
