This handbag features a vibrant blue butterfly. The front is a textured mint green fabric which has been overlaid with black and white striped ribbon and then a blue velvet butterfly made from a combination of rich blue velvet and a lighter sky blue velvet then using a black zig-zag stitch I have added the intricate detail. the body of the butterfly is made from black corduroy. To finish the butterfly I have hand-stitched sequin and bead spots The back is a complex check, created by overlaying many different colored and textured ribbons, in black, white, and blue ribbons. The front and back have both been piped in a chunky black corduroy. The sides are made from a Navy corduroy that has black leather straps that connect to the metal rings and then the adjustable strap which has been made from a navy pin cord fabric and layers of 3 different ribbons. This bag fastens with a light blue zip which reveals inside a navy quilted satin lining with makers label. The measurements (at the widest points) Height - 22cm Width - 25cm Depth - 15cm

Bought 1 itemThis is my third bag from Joanne and another favourite. So bright and cheery, well sewn and designed. Love that the strap is wide as it sits well on my shoulder and doesn’t dig in. The bag holds all my necessities but isn’t heavy. I love that Joanne designs with colour at the forefront but also uses nice fabrics and textures. Go on treat yourself to a bag that many will admire!
