About this item
I've made the purse with two cotton prints from Makower's Botanica collection - the outer is a celebration of Autumn's harvest fruits and the lining is falling leaves on a golden background. The outer is interfaced with woven cotton for strength and longevity, and I've also added a layer of soft fleece to give a puffy effect that feels nice in your hand. The engraved metal frame of the purse is a bronze colour and I've hand stitched it into place using a toning perle cotton in a golden shade. The purse measures 8cm (3.25 inches) across at the top of the frame and 10cm (4 inches) across at the bottom, where I've boxed off the corners to give a little depth to the bottom of the purse of 3.5cm (1.5 inches). It stands a little over 9cm (3.5 inches) tall, which is just right to carry a credit card or two, if you wish to. Please note that the photographs of the purse here are of one sample purse and your purse may look slightly different, according to how the fabric is cut.
