About this item
I make these purses with a very pretty Liberty Tana Lawn called 'June's Meadow' in several different colours: a silvery blue, yellow and red. The print is covered with meadow wildflowers and there are drops of colour added here and there to add interest. I also offer the same purse in a blue background shade with a silver frame. The purse outers are interfaced for strength and I've added some soft fleece to give a puffy effect. The inside of the purse is lined with a rich deep gold coloured cotton - hard wearing enough to stand up to those coins jiggling about but still beautifully soft. The engraved metal frame of the purse is a bronze colour and I've hand stitched it into place using a perle cotton to co-ordinate with the gold lining fabric. The purse measures 8cm (3.25 inches) across at the mid part of the frame and 12cm (4.75 inches) at the widest point, at the bottom, where I've boxed off the corners to give a little depth to the purse of 3cm (1.25 inch). It stands 9cm (3.5 inches) tall. Please note that the photographs of the purse here are of one sample purse and your purse may look slightly different according to how the fabric is cut.
