Treat yourself or give as a gift to a gardener. Crewel embroidery is an embroidery form dating back to Tudor times. Here it has been given a modern feel using bright colours and simple textures on the wool felt back ground. The embroidery is framed in a metal ring, which has been crocheted over using mercerised cotton, giving it a smooth sheen. Stitches used include French Knots, Woven Circle and Chain Stitch. The wall decoration is 12cm / 4.75” wide. It hangs from a loop 4cm / 1.5” long. The embroidery is posted wrapped in tissue and popped in a card envelope. Orders placed Monday to Friday are usually posted within 24 hours.
