About this item
A pure white macrame wall hanging,handmade using Whimsy designs 3mm twisted cotton. The hanging has been tied around a natural untreated branch which I have sanded down. The wall hanging has a beautiful large eight petalled flower in the centre which leads down to a wrap knot. A spiral runs down each side which then joins the stem of the flower in a pattern of square knots. A wrap knot has been tied each side. All the ends of the cords have been brushed out into a fringe to give a softer finish. A perfect gift for a new home, this wall hanging will be a great addition to any room. Measurements: The branch is 24cm long with a 1cm dia The hanging is 41cm from the base of the pole to the end of the fringe and 18cm wide. The overall height when hanging as shown in the picture is 54cm. All measurements are approx. The wall hanging will be boxed and sent via royal mail 2nd class small parcel service

After making wall hangings and bags using butterfly patterns, I wanted to try designing a flower as the central focal point. I was not disappointed! I really love the way this flower has turned out.
