About this item
These folk art style flower and leaf earrings are inspired by scandi style folk art and are made from anodised aluminium which I have dyed in red and grey and printed with a leaf print. The dye is made permanent by heating the aluminium. I have cut out the semi-circle and pod shape with a piercing saw and filed the edges for a nice smooth finish. The two pieces are linked with a sterling silver hoop and dangle from a sterling silver ear wire. The semi-circle and pod shape together both measure approximately 25mm from top to bottom and the widest part of the pod measures 20mm across.
