Hashtag Linocut

This is an original, hand carved and hand-pulled print using a reduction process. In a reduction print the all colours come from the same block. The lino is gradually cut away as each colour is printed so only a very small area remains for the final, darkest tone. As the block is essentially destroyed during the process, a reduction print can never be reprinted. This is why it is sometimes called the suicide method. This completely manual process means that there will be slight variations between prints, making each one unique; however the photos shown here are of the exact print you are buying. Only 6 prints were produced from the block.
