This pair of vases were really intended for decorative use but the may be used for dry flowers. Made in ash the shape was turned to enhance the beautiful figured grain. They are finished with a dulled lacquer and waxed to give a warm sheen. Approximate dimensions: H168mm x D80mm.

I have finally got back to work in the last couple weeks following an unexpected hiatus from the turn of 2026. However this did give me the opportunity to rethink a few things and come up with some new ideas. Amongst these are the introduction of colour by way of painted glass used in some of the trinket pots. Just a reminder that apart from exceptionally large pieces my items are delivered free of charge by Royal Mail, second class.

One of my granddaughters sent me a few photographs of some ceramics from a visit she made to an arts museum in Amsterdam It inspired me to create the the design that you see here.
