This quilt is very colourful, made up of Batik cotton fabric in a rainbow of colours and white tone on tone cotton fabric. In the white squares I have hand quilted hearts to make a flower shape. The border is peach cotton fabric and edged with different coloured prairie points. It is backed with white cotton fabric with delecate tiny grey flowers on it. I had a collection of Batik cotton fabric and cut it into strips and played with a pattern to make up blocks, it went so well with white. I enjoyed hand quilting and playing with shapes it sort of evolved from there.
