Barn Owl print titled 'Deep in the Oak Wood' - Original, Limited Edition Linocut Reduction Print. Hand cut and printed on a hand press. Signed, numbered and titled in pencil by the artist. Please note: this is a handmade original print - not a digital print. This linocut image of the Barn Owl has been hand cut using 2 lino plates. The first plate was used to create the background and woodland leaves. The second plate was used to create the owl itself. Both plates used the reduction method where the plate is printed and then the image is cut away and printed again until the artwork is complete. Because of the hand printing process each and every print is slightly different. Limited Edition of 25, (plus 5 Artists Proofs), once these are all sold that's the edition finished. A certificate of authenticity will be supplied with the print. Supplied in a cream mount. Image size: 14 x 20 cms approx., (approx. 5.5" x 8"). Mount size: to fit frame 28 x 35cms, (approx. 11" x 13.75"). Printed on archival quality printing paper using water based inks. Colour may vary from digital image. Picture frame not included.
