A handcarved wooden ladle for cooking and serving. Carved by traditional techniques solely using handtools. The spoon bowl measures 4 inches by 3 inches and the scoop is about 9 inches in length overall. Ideal for soups, stews or perhaps porridge. There is a hanging hook incorporated into the design and the handle has been painted with acrylic artist's paint. The spoon was treated with culinary grade linseed oil and allowed to dry, giving the bare wood a protective finish.
