About this item
Here is a pattern for three beautiful, highly decorated sweaters in the Aran style. Stylised heart-shaped cables run down the front (and back) of the jumpers, with columns of lattice-work stitches beside them. Each of the pictured jumpers has a different neck to show just how versatile this design is. There is a V-neck, a roll neck and a round necked version. Each version has long sleeves, echoing the heart-shaped cables and lattice columns from the front and back. The pattern is sized for a 24-32 inch chest. This is a genuine paper pattern from the 1980's, not a PDF. Vintage designs and ideas are making a comeback these days and many retro patterns are still fashionable, just like this one. I do not carry wool in my shop, neither do I have any connections to anyone who could provide the wool. This pattern is over 30 years old but, like any pattern (old or new) you can choose your own wools to use, just be sure to check the tension advised in the pattern. If you're unsure, take the pattern to a yarn shop, or haberdashery shop and ask their advice - they will be able to help you.
