About this item
Hand felted picture of an autumn hedgerow made from 100% merino wool felt with added silk fibers in white frame. Berries and leaves have been shaped from hand made felt and applied to a felt background. The leaves, berries and background have been decorated with hand stitching to give a rich decorative 3D surface. The fruits and leaves are in autumn colours of orange, dark red and gold and the background is dark green. The white frame measures 10 x 10 x 1 inches (deep) (26 x 26 x 3 cms). The felted picture in the centre of the mount measures 5 x 5 inches (12 x 12 cms) approx and is mounted onto handmade paper and then cream mountboard. The work is plastic glazed and is made to be hung on a wall. The work is plastic glazed but to give a better picture the close up photos have been taken without the glazing. This item has been designed and stitched by me and made in a non-smoking and pet free home. If you would like any more information please let me know.
