About this item
A hand-made fused glass bird that makes the perfect addition to your Christmas tree. The colours of the decoration make it ideal for this seasons popular rainbow themed Christmas tree. The wing and eye of the bird are tack-fused to the body, leaving them in relief above the glass, giving a very tactile result. Each part of the bird is fired separately, then assembled and tack-fused to make the final piece. As a result, each bird is fired up to five times before completion. The finished item measures approximately 7 cm across and 6 cm high. Each decoration has a silver coloured bail glued to the back and is hung on an organza ribbon. The birds are made individually by hand, which means that no two will be identical and the decoration you receive may vary slightly to the one shown in the picture.
