Black shell necklace, wire wrapped necklace

A lovely handmade necklace, with a wire wrapped black shell as the focus. The shell is 14 mm round. It has pieces of white mother of pearl set within it, making it truly fascinating. I have wire wrapped the shell in a herringbone weave that highlights the prettiness of the shell. I have used anti-tarnish wire to wrap the shell and hung it from a patterned tibetan silver bail. The total length of the wrapped gemstone and bail is approximately 4.5 cm / 1.75 inches. The wrapped shell hangs from a silver plated necklace that fastens with a simple lobster clasp. The necklace is 45.5 cm / 18 inches long, but this can be changed to your preferred length - please request this in the 'note to seller' section when ordering. Each necklace is individually made and each shell is unique. Therefore your necklace will vary slightly from that shown in the photograph. Your necklace will be carefully wrapped in tissue paper and placed within an organza gift bag prior to packing and posting. Please note - colours of packaging materials may differ from those shown.
