About this item
This zakka style mini clutch purse has been made with upcycled linen and a pink polka dot quilting cotton embellished with hand embroidered daisies sitting in a row over a strip of crochet lace. The shiny silver frame has been glued securely in place and features a kiss lock, keeping all goodies safe inside until you need them. The frame opens nice and wide to allow you easy access. The sweet pink daisies have been embroidered using a variety of stitches including french knots, lazy daisies and stem stitch. The lining is a nicely matched green cotton. As the mini clutch purse has been hand embroidered no two will ever be the same, making it truly one of a kind. The natural linen has been upcycled from a pair of trousers so the purse would make a lovely eco-friendly gift for the eco-concious. This is a mini version of my clutch purses and although small is quite stocky with a nice wide bottom which it a very roomy little bag. It can be used as a coin purse and to hold small items such as sewing notions or journal stationery and accessories. I use mine to carry jewellery and hair accessories on holiday with me. It would also be perfect as a first clutch purse for a little girl. The back has been finished with my label and another little flower. It measures approx. 14.5cm at widest point 19.5cm to the top of the frame, not including the bobbles of the kiss lock 6.5cm deep

I am always inspired by zakka style bags and wanted to make something using embroidery in my own style but with a zakka feel. I also can't resist small and cute things so I had to make more of these purses for my Folksy shop.
