This lovely pink silk dog rose is embroidered onto a calico background and created using a combination of raw edge applique, hand embroidery and free motion embroidery. You can buy a whole series of these floral studies, including roses, poppies, sunflowers and bluebells. Other varieties of flower can be commissioned. This artwork is unframed, signed by the artist on the mount. It will be sent to you in a cello bag to keep it pristine. The dog rose has been laced at the reverse and attached securely to a mount, ready to be framed in a 7 by 5 inch frame, which is easily available from a number of stores in a variety of budgets and styles. When selecting your frame, do ensure the rebate of the picture frame is deep enough to accommodate the thickness of the textile artwork.
