Spider's Web Stained Glass Suncatcher Coloured

A stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique. It is entirely hand crafted and unique. This is a Spider's Web, or at least a segment of a web, complete with an attached spider. All 9 sections oft the web are different types of glass, some red, turquoise, clear iridescent and generally a rather lovely combination of colour. The colour coordinated spider is made from a deep purple nugget fused in my kiln and wire. This suncatcher is 12 cm in diameter and hangs from a silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the web. . It looks lovely hanging in the window where the different textures and colours of glass give it movement and sparkle as it catches the light. This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass. I can make it in other colours if you prefer, please contact me if you do.
