About this item
198mm Diameter at the top, 96 mm Diameter at the base, 118mm tall. 605 grams weight. A lovely bowl, which has slight shake that appeared in side as it was being turned and has stayed the same for the past 5 or 6 years. (Shakes are where the grain open slightly, often as stresses that were "inside the wood" when it was a tree are relieved as the wood is cut, they usually don't go all the way through and mostly add to the "real timber" look: especially in Oak beams in old houses etc. we used it to hold the tv remote controllers for a while and as a fruit bowl, so it is technically second hand....a lovely bowl..

I just love making things and this is one of a series of objects I have made over the years. I need to make some room as I have a few more things on the way and I'm running out of room to keep storing these artefacts. Thus, I am looking for a new owner who will cherish it and enjoy the pleasure I have had making it by looking after it, hopefully for many years to come. Bowl 14) 197mm diameter x 112mm hight x 97mm diameter at base Ash, 572grams weight
