You are looking at a variation of one, of my most popular Designs----The SNOWMAN IN HOLLY SPRIG HAT BROOCH- Lapel Flower Pin. A great Festive Pin for the Christmas Period... Each piece of Jewellery is Individually Designed, Handmade and Hand Painted. No moulds are used. EACH ITEM IS TOTALLY UNIQUE. The material used is a very refined modelling Clay. A Porcelain substitute. It fires a lot stronger than Porcelain, so intricate and fine detail can be used without it becoming too fragile! It also fires very light, so size is not restricted to a small sculpture and large Designs can be produced. Exquisite, realistic detail, beautifully hand painted. Silver Gilt Brooch back- Bar, with a locking safety clasp.. Approximate size 3 cm ( 1 1/4 inches) across and 3.5 cm ( 1 1/2 inches ) down. Supplied in an elegant black presentation box, with a black velvet insert. Washable. NOTE- THIS BROOCH IS HANDMADE TO ORDER, SO IT WILL BE SIMULAR, BUT A UNIQUE PIECE OF ARTWORK! My inspiration for making this Brooch was to try and capture the delicate features of the Snowman, while being durable to everyday wear and tear. I love intricate detail and as with all my Designs I wanted to create a " one off " piece of Artwork. Holly has evergreen or deciduous foliage and is used traditionally at Christmas as ornamental Greens, decorations. Some species leaves are used in medicine, for such things as coughs and digestive disorders, however the pretty Red Berries are very poisonous. This unique and individual piece of Artwork, is a beautiful delicate Piece, which would appeal to nature lovers and romantics a like..
