Sea shell pendant necklace with circles and rainbow colours

This is an intricate shell pendant which I have made from aluminium, The shell is hand saw pierced and then brushed to give a matt look. I then cut out the same shell shape from anodised aluminium which I have dyed in a range of rainbow bright colours. The colour is sealed in so it becomes a permanent part of the metal. I dome the two shells and after careful lining up, I drill holes in them and fix hand made aluminium rivets into the holes to fuse the two shells together. The rivets are hammered to hold the metal firmly and filed down to give a smooth shape. Lastly, I have attached a sterling silver jump ring and 16" sterling silver chain. The shell measures 30mm x 27mm If you would prefer a different length chain, please ask.
