About this item
Typebar Bookmark Quite unusual thing such as typebar - maybe it is worth to explain its role - one of the thin movable bars on typewriters that carry the letters or characters. Repurposed from the authentic, vintage typewriters to a lovely bookmark. One unique metal typebar with RANDOM letter (please don`t hesitate to ask me if specific letters are avaliable) with braided ending green and silver embroidery threads you can also ask for other colours - please add a note at the checkout or message me Whole bookmark measures about 18 cm / 7 inches Typebar - 8 cm (about 3 inches) Braided ending - 10 cm (about 4 inches) It may be a fantastic and unique gift for paper book reader (as it would be rather unusefull for kindle user ;) The bookmark will arrive in a lovaly organza bag.

EvaGiftedHands sells custom cufflinks, personalised gifts and jewelry. Nothing is more fulfilling than being able to create and share something that you enjoy. And what I love is the forgotten items. ✔ My beloved part - antique world maps and atlases which I use to feature locations close to your heart creating meaningful gifts for you and people you love. ✔ Old, steampunk watch movements which I turn into amazing jewellery and accessories. ✔ Old school and calligraphy fountain pen nibs which I repurpose into lovely dangle earrings. ✔ Old Typewriters became monogrammed necklaces and bookmarks I truly love being able to create one of a kind personalized and thoughtful pieces that can be cherished for years to come! My goal is to make everyone unique with my handmade, personalised products. My father is a classic vintage hunter. He loves little antiques such as watches, fountain pens, and pencils, coins, etc. I was bitten by the same bug, when I was about 10 years old - when he show me - what is inside the watch! I was totally charmed! I started my own collection of antique stuff which I can restore to the public, and create a jewellery with. typewriter keys was my second big project. I love car boot sales, antique shops, and garage sales, cause I always can find something broken and totally useless for others - but not for me.
