About this item
i have made the scrolled patterns on this brooch using rods of enamel, giving a more formal shape to the lines of the design. Depending on the direction of light striking the brooch the copper base may be seen shining golden brown through the turquoise. The oval measures 40mm by 30mm. It is soldered to a 26mm brooch bar. The bar is mounted centrally on the long axis of the oval so the brooch may be worn horizontally or vertically without seemingout of balance.
