About this item
This silver owl necklace is made up of a hand cut impressed piece of metal which has been cut into an irregular shape using a jewellers piercing saw. the silver owl image has been impressed from an etched brass plate of my own hand drawn ink drawing. The flying owl motif has been oxidised then polished to a mirror finish. All my designs are original limited editions. supplied on sterling silver 16" or 18" snake chain

We have a lot of tawny owls in the trees surrounding my studio, they make themselves known at dusk making dark lovely shadows in the dwindling night's sky.
