Fused Glass Fish Decoration

Delicately patterned glass fish decoration for your home or garden. Created from layered various greens, black, and clear Bullseye sheet and ground glass in my Whitstable workshop. The body, eye and fins are all hand cut and fused separately before being joined in another firing with the hanging wire secured in place. Final adjustments are made to the shape and then the whole piece is fired again. This design has many layers of differently graded ground glass to achieve real depth of pattern and gold flecks which capture light beautifully. The tail has a delicate ribbed effect. A green satin ribbon is attached to complete the design. Dimensions: Nose to Tail 10cm, Fin width 4cm, approx 6mm thick, Weight 45g Carefully packaged in tissue paper, bubble wrap and sturdy corrugated card packet and delivered via Royal Mail First Class post.
