About this item
I have painted this larger size matchbox and decorated it with an image from a napkin, then varnished it for protection. The image is wrapped around the box so that both sides are decorated. I use this super wine/cheese/bread/grapes napkin image on my candles, also, and a candle and matchbox set can make an unusual gift. The matches are Bryant & May Extra Long matches so that you can refill the box once they are used. The matchbox measures 6.5 x 11 x 1.75 cms (2.5 x 4 3/8 x 0.75 inches)

I really like to have a pretty box on my mantelpiece or dinner table rather than a brightly coloured basic matchbox – they seem so much nicer to use, somehow!
