About this item
12” x 12” (30cm x 30cm) original on deep edge canvas. No need to frame - the painting goes all around the edge. This is part of the British Birds theme I’ve worked on. I’ve tried to capture their essential characteristics whilst avoiding the ‘birdspotters book’ look, hopefully. Googly eyes, obviously, with a touch of varnish for a cheeky glint in the eye. You can see more examples at www.christinejopling.com - commissions are welcome! A ‘How to Look after your Painting’ leaflet accompanies this piece, and the painting is named, numbered and signed by the artist. All sizes are approximate. The last image shows how the painting wraps around, and how it’s signed.

What a wonderful purchase from the loveliest of sellers! The package arrived promptly with a handwritten, personal message from the seller on a postcard and a cute sticker - these little extras remind me why I love Folksy, supporting the talented creators and that real connection that sadly is so rare these days. Highly recommended.

Bought 2 itemsA Birthday present to myself and taking full advantage of the amazing sale, I couldn’t resist. Christines art is quirky and playful, these birds are no exception, while identifiable as different species, they are unmistakably drawn with her unique style of humour. Love love love! Thank you xx
