About this item

Materials

Clay, Ceramic, Pottery, Stoneware, Glaze

Made in

Uxbridge, Middlesex

Description

The best way to crush and grind herbs and spices, perfect for making pastes, pesto and dressings. This dish was thrown on my pottery wheel using strong toasted stoneware clay, and I've finished it in a pretty cobalt royal blue reactive glaze. The large pouring lip makes it easy to tip out the ground up contents. The grinding process is made easier by the unglazed stone surface's natural texture. 21.5cm across and 3.75cm high. Weight 600gms. Foodsafe glazes.....oven, microwave and dishwasher safe. I am happy to post anywhere, and to combine shipping. I offer a shipping discount, on multiples, applied at checkout. Thanks for looking. Before you go, please have a look at my other listed items.....

lovely mug, my husband wanted a large mug for his coffee and was delighted with the size and the fact it could go in the dishwasher as well as microwave.

Plate is lovely, understated and rustic. lovely for mashing garlic etc and depth makes it great for making garlic based dips. Loved the garlic clove shaped texture for mashing against. Packaging was appropriate and Royal Mail delivery was fast.
