Bristol Tea Towel - blue

This Tea Towels is originally designed by me, Melanie. The image is produced from hand carved lino blocks which is then printed and turned into screens to produce the finished tea towel image. The tea towel is made from unbleached, ethically traded cotton and printed using water based inks (completely colourfast and washable!) Large size tea towel: 79cm x 49cm size. All hemmed and finished. Machine washable at 40 degrees c. I like to make a mix of different types of images, all quite stylised but some with a sense of humour to the image too. I often take the natural world, animals and allotments as my inspiration. I love making lino prints and produce a range of limited edition artworks and greetings cards as well as screen printed tea towels and bags from my lino print designs. Please have a look in my shop for other items. All my lino prints are hand printed by me using a boxwood burnishing tool. I also supply various galleries and shops around the UK with my lino prints and details of some of these can be found on my website if you want to see a bigger selection of my work in real life. www.melaniewickham.co.uk
